For specifics on the four C’s of diamond buying, carat, cut, color, and clarity, I ask that you visit the website for the GIA (Gemological Institute of America) at www.gia.edu. Choose option “How to buy a diamond”.

Key to the diamond buying process is working with a stone expert and someone you trust. I have your interests in mind in finding the best stone for you. Do your browsing for ideas. Then select one contact to work with, letting them guide you through this process. I hope that you allow me to serve you!

There are many independent laboratories that grade diamonds. Not all are highly respected. Most of the diamonds I sell are graded by the GIA, Gemological Institute of America.

My diamond sources cut and stock beautiful stones with very good and excellent grades, however, any stone that looks good on paper but does not prove its "make" or “cut” in liveliness brilliance, and fire, will be returned. The only true way to evaluate a diamond is to look at the stone.

A diamond cannot be bought or evaluated properly by just looking at a lab report. One MUST see the stone, and compare stones side by side. Yes, there are many internet companies that will sell you a diamond that they have not seen. They will talk to you about the laboratory report on the stone, but they cannot help you even by putting several stones side by side to compare for you. In fact, many have no diamond training. Even a trained and experienced Gemologist would not purchase a diamond sight-unseen! Why then would you?

Each diamond is from nature and is therefore unique. I will not sell a stone that I would not buy for myself. No matter what shape, color, or clarity that you desire, the cut will be beautiful. The stone will dance with brilliance and fire and provide you or your loved one with thrills and compliments! The "cut" or “make” is what gives the stone life, making a world of difference. You will see this difference for yourself, even on your first time looking at diamonds. It is based on light performance, not what is printed on the lab report.

I do not recommend stones with risky inclusions that can jeopardize the integrity of the stone. This goes for smaller stones as well as certified stones.

Please contact me and let me provide the diamond or stone of your dreams! You will not be disappointed!
